This site was buggy on a June trip. It has the closest access to clear water. The water dropped a lot while we were here for two nights and the shallow landing made it a chore to get the boats floating again.

Thre are 3 camps on RL at Walker, this is the furtherest up-stream of them. It has the most cover from winds coming down the Walker Glacier. The furthest downstream camp also has good cover. You have to bring your own wood to these camps. It is amazing how much the Walker Glacier has retreated since my first Tat trip 11 years ago. The hike to the glacier is at least 1/2 to 1 mile further than it used to be and a few square miles of what was ice is now a lake at the snout of the glacier.
