This is one of my favorite river camps. It is in Snowhole Canyon which is an obvious reason to camp here. The views of these canyon walls will disappear a few miles downstream; why not stay in the canyon as long as possible. This is a low water camp the beaches picture here do not appear until say 7,000 cfs and lower. When the beaches do come out they make a great 2 step kitchen. Another reason I love this camp, it is not very popular when compared to Mahoney just downpmstream, so there are less bugs a good chance it will be empty when get their at 3 or 4pm. Remember No Camp Running, unless your an outfitter (jk)
